1 - What is Al Khawarizmi IT Training Center?

It is a center affiliated with Kuwait University, under the Vice President for Academic Support Services, specializing in professional training and qualification in all fields of information technology. It offers its services both within and outside Kuwait University.

2 - How can I know the schedule of workshops and training courses?

You can view the monthly training plan by visiting the center's official website and social media pages.

3 - How can I know the content and details of any of the workshops and courses?

You can download the annual training plan by visiting the official website to find out the details, target groups, and descriptions of each training program.

4 - Who can register in these courses?

Registration is only for university affiliates (faculty members and academic staff). Employees, students of Kuwait University who are continuing their studies).

5 - Is it possible to enroll in the training programs if you are not a member of Kuwait University?

Currently, there are no courses offered for groups outside the university.

6 - What are the registration fees?

The workshops and courses are free for all university members (during official working hours).

7 - How can I register for the courses and workshops offered by Al Khawarizmi IT Training Center?

To register, please follow the instructions below: 
Fill in the data by scanning the QR code included in the center's advertisements. 
For Employees only: Download the registration form available in the QR code, via email, or in Al Khawarizmi IT Training Center's website, fill it out electronically, have it signed by the Direct Manager, and upload it in the category field of the form.

8 - Can I register using my personal email?

You can only register through your university email.

9 - What are the requirements for me to get a certificate? 

The certificates awarded by the center are an excellent addition to the trainee's resume, and to obtain the certificate: 
 A. The participant must complete more than 80% of the total time of the workshop or course. 
B. The electronic certificate will be sent within two weeks of the workshop or course completion (to your university email). 
C.  If the certificate does not arrive in the email within two weeks, please contact via WhatsApp at 24986202.

10 - What is the duration for issuing the ICDL certificate after passing all the tests?

After successfully passing all the tests, the center issues a certificate to whom it may concern upon request from the applicant, as the basic certificate takes a period of two to four months to be issued by the parent company based in Dubai.

11 - What is the validity period of the ICDL certificate?
