As part of the effective participation of the Al-Khwarizmi Center and its collaboration with entities both within and outside the university, the center participated in the accompanying exhibition of the Second International Forum on Artificial Intelligence and Digitization under the slogan "Governance of Artificial Intelligence," sponsored by the Central Information Technology Agency and the General Authority for Communications and IT, held from May 7 to 8, 2024, at the Hashimi Hall, Radisson Blu Hotel.
Engineer Anwar Al-Mousawi, the director of the center, stated that Kuwait University pays direct attention to topics related to artificial intelligence, sustainability, and the digital transformation of government institutions, and to enhancing joint efforts towards digital transformation and modern technologies. Therefore, the center has offered workshops in this field.
Al-Mousawi added that the participation would involve presenting what has been offered in this field through workshops during the previous training plan and showcasing what will be offered in the current training plan 2024/2025. Several center trainers participated in the forum, including Maha Al-Otaibi and Engineer Radwan Al-Shami, who conduct this type of courses.
Al-Mousawi concluded that the trainers nominated to attend the exhibition have joined the workshops offered at this forum to develop their training skills, transfer the expertise available at the forum, and present them as new workshops for all university members. This is to achieve the main objectives of the strategic plan, which specifies preparing all university members in terms of technology.
