The Deanship of Student Affairs, under the sponsorship of the Prime Minister and in the presence of the Acting Secretary-General of the University and the Acting Dean of Student Affairs, organized the Kuwait University Career Fair held at the Sabah Al-Salem University from April 21 to April 23, 2024. The fair aims to identify the best job opportunities for everyone, with participation from various external entities and university departments.

The Director of Al-Khawarizmi Center, Engineer Anwar Al-Mousawi, stated that based on the joint cooperation between the work centers, colleges, and deanships that showcase Kuwait University in a manner befitting its well-known name, the center participated with a special booth at the exhibition, which offered a very distinguished presentation by providing ICDL tests for all current university students and graduates for the academic years 2022/2023 and 2023/2024.

Al-Mousawi added that everyone who attended will be able to apply for the tests for free, provided they present proof of their affiliation to these categories, which will qualify them to apply for several jobs. This certificate will be a good addition to their resumes, giving them priority in hiring in many organizations and granting them the opportunity to apply for administrative jobs at the University of Kuwait, one of the requirements for which is obtaining this certificate.

Al-Mousawi concluded his statement by saying that the center has prepared an exceptional training plan to offer several workshops and courses in the field of information technology for the year 2024/2025, which will commence at the beginning of May for all university members with the aim of increasing their technical awareness.
