Al-Khwarizmi IT Training Center conducted a comprehensive online training program via Microsoft Teams from February 10 to February 12, 2025. The program was delivered by a trainer affiliated with one of Microsoft companies and was available to all members of Kuwait University.
Eng. Maha Al-Qadoumi, Director of the Center, stated that this program was introduced as part of the center's strategic plan, which includes initiatives aimed at enhancing digital learning and collaboration among all university members, including faculty, academic support staff, employees, and students.
Al-Qadoumi added that the selected applications in the program were chosen to benefit a wide range of university members. The program covered (AI tools in MS, Copilot, Bookings, and Planner), which will assist in both educational and administrative processes.
She also mentioned that registration is still open for Google programs introduced at the end of last year, which received significant interest from those in the field.
Al-Qadoumi concluded by stating that the center is currently preparing the training plan for the 2025/2026 academic year, set to launch in April 2025. This plan will include numerous workshops and courses aimed at enhancing technological literacy among trainees.
